My apologies before hand if this is the wrong forum to ask this question.
I have a N64 Tristar64 system (clone unit that lets you play SNES and FC carts when plugged on top of a N64 system). Example:
http://www.ign.com/articles/2000/06/23/tristar-64
http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/sh ... -internals
I was paying close attention to the NOAC portion pinout printed on board, and I was trying to figure out what some of the signals are. I'm guessing some are related to the controller pins such as CLK, Strobe, etc, but I just can't make out what exactly they are. This NOAC supports two controllers.
It reads as follows:
A= Audio
V= Video
GND= Ground
5V= 5vcc
GND= Another Ground
NES= ?
J0= ?
J1= ?
JC0= ?
JP0= ?
JC1=?
Please disregard the L,R,G, and G next to them, they are the main Tristar64 AV output signals (see pic below).
I'd like to find out, as I'm looking to replace that side with a newer NOAC . The stock one is terrible. Any help is much appreciated. Here's a pic:
