This is not the first time I've seen this problem...hopefully I can explain it alright. I have a screen transition - everything fades out, the screen turns off, a bunch of updates occur, and then the screen turns back on and fades back. Works flawlessly.
Just added a routine to load different tilesets during this time. Now, while the screen should be turned off (or possibly JUST before it turns on or just after), for just a flicker, what is left on the screen jumps to a random position on the screen and then snaps back in place.
Have any of you experienced this before? Any thoughts as to what causes it?
