The palettes and sprite OAM are DRAM, right? Meaning the values will fade out if not touched for a while?
When rendering is on, is the access the PPU performs to read those values enough to keep them alive?
My real question is: if I don't update the palette for a while, will it degrade? Will the colors (palette entries) I don't use degrade?
