Okay, well, with NESASM, it's pretty simple. You have to have a graphics file (.chr, .pcx, etc.) with all the numbers and letters in the exactly right place. if you just want the alphabet, you just place "A" at tile at pattern table tile #$41 and "B" at #$42, etc. and make sure they're all capitals. And you just do this:

If you only have the capital letters in the graphics file, make sure you define that text string with ONLY CAPITALS!
