Another stupid question!
So far I understand that the nrom boards don't need any rewiring of the pins!
But now I´m planning on making a Mini-putt cart, both the chr and prg are 128kb.. so Im planning to use 27c1001 eproms!
I have a SLROM-06 board...
and found the following information...
SLROM (mapper 1):
PRG socket:
Bend up pins 1, 2, 24, 30 and 31 (or cut tracks)
Solder pin 2 to hole 24 (A16)
Solder pin 24 to GND (OE)
Solder pin 30 to hole 1 (A17)
What happens to pin32?
And hole 1 is were pin 3 ar going down right? Or am I supposed to desolder more than the 28holes that the old chip were in?
(I hope someone of you understand me)
CHR socket:
Bend up pins 1, 2, 22, 24, 30 and 31 (or cut tracks)
Solder pin 2 to hole 24 (A16)
Solder pin 22 to hole 31 (CE or CHR /A13)
Solder pin 24 to hole 2 (OE or CHR /RD)
what happens to pin 1 and 30?
Thanks! /Pinge
