i to all! i hope you can help me! i've a pal snes that i've tried to mod with supercic. first time the mod was good but i had image flickering
Extra WIIIIIDE imageClick and discover ImageShackso a guy suggest me to change the connection because my system is pal so i've redone the mod but know the snes is completely dead! the power supply and the fuse is ok: what can i do?
Extra WIIIIDE imageClick and discover that there's no more RadioShack
The connection is the same for any region of the SNES.
Why did you add a capacitor ? Follow
this guide, it worked for me.
Hi,
the snes should show anything whey you put to power on?! If there is nothing, the fuse could be damage. Test and replace the fuse?
Have you perform some power off and ons after your power disconnect?!
Please controll the Pin 23 om PPU and 25-30. The pins looks a little bit strange.
Maybe you have desolder one of this pins.
Disconnect the LED for your tests. Remove the cap and set the risistor to the cic. Use another GND point für Pin 7 and pulldown. Resolder all connections. Use thinner cables. MAybe a old HDD drive cable from IDE works better for this!
Thanks

hi guys and thanks for the reply
snes doesn't show anything. is like i don't power on it...
the power supply is ok!
"Have you perform some power off and ons after your power disconnect?!"
what do you mean?!
" set the risistor to the cic"
wht do you mean?
the cap is a fix read in another forum
my multimeter give me a beep on the fuse, so i think it's ok!

Doesn't look like a fix, as your SNES died just after adding it.
You can undo your work & see if the SNES works stock.. then you can maybe have a better idea that the system is still OK just by itself. Then you'll know where the problem is -- the system, or your hack.
good news guys: caps removed, fuse changed and now it boot but with a lot of problem

Do you have another TV to try? Maybe an old CRT TV? I am suspecting your TV does not like the output of the console.
Also was it working on this TV before you performed the mod?
