I've just finished the 60hz switch/Lockout chip mod on my PAL snes and I currently own a copy of an NTSC version of Kirby's Dreamland 3. Being one of the last snes games ever released it naturally won't work with a universal converter, regardless of whether the lockout chip is enabled or disabled. I've seen some successful mods on the carts of Mario RPG to let them work on a PAL snes without any mods - is there a similar way to do this to Kirby's Dreamland 3?
Yes, if it uses the Sa-1 just lift up pin 127 and it should work on a pal Snes.
Thanks for your reply. It does use an SA-1 but I found when I put the board in a PAL cart shell it worked without the modification, so that was too easy.
I've seen your repo carts SnesGuy and the quality of the labels you make are really impressive. What are you printing them out on? Im gonna test a label on some label paper that I've got - unfortunately I'm out of ink right now so that'll have to wait.
