Does anyone have Matt Conte's palette in a .pal file?
I tried making it on my own but I have little to no success when I lack the means and the programs. So I won't mind if anyone whom doesn't have it anymore could create and show me how they did their own. Thanks in advance and my apologies if this is rendered as a spam thread. I have been looking for it in a while and this is the only place I figured that might have yielded a satisfactory answer.
i dug it up.
ugly palette
my TV must have really sucked back then.
Exactly what I needed. Rew (Yes. That GB/GBC emulator) also uses it. So it it habit of mine to use Nester with that palette for the games that are not supported by Rew. Slightly offtopic but that is my reason to use such "horrible" palette over my emulations years. Much appreciated nonetheless. Thanks a bunch.
I used to use Rew too, but in late 2001 I dropped it in favor of a GBC emulator called VisualBoy, which eventually became a GBC/GBA emulator called VisualBoyAdvance. Now FCE Ultra and VBA are my first-line emulators, and I try every NES program I make on FCEU and Nintendulator before letting anyone else see it.
Blast. Seems the palette was taken down. Did someone else save it? I wanted it too. x.x
Thank you so much man. Without it, a project for Legend of Double Moon would have died for a friend of mine. It sounds corny and very stupid to hear this from a stranger. Nevertheless, thanks a lot. I appreciate it and I promise not to let him lose it again. If you ever need something or anything, don't hesitate to ask.
My custom palette was ripped from Rockman Complete Works (PSX), and the holes were completed with Chris Covell's palette (much like the dinosaur's DNA on Jurassic Park, heh).
