Now, I know you're not expecting me to make this topic, but I'll explain. I was contacted by someone from 8 Bit Evolution (https://8bitevolution.com) who saw my artwork and asked if I wanted to be an artist for them. (Unfortunately though, I'm not the most reliable, but that's beside the point.) Anyway though, that's irrelevant to this. What is relevant is that they wanted me to tell you guys about a game they're making.
Here's what they said:
Anyway, here are pictures of what the game should look like:

We are about two weeks out from our Children's Hospital initiative with the Pittsburgh Retro Gaming Convention.
This is the second year of the event for us, and last year was a great success. This year we'd love to raise enough money with the game + convention sales to make a definitive impact for Children's that goes beyond a general fund.
What does it mean to be a kid?
It means something different for everyone. At Children's Hospital, it's hospital visits, treatments, and weeks away from school. We believe it means much more than that. Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh sees more than a million unique children each month, leading the way with some of the worlds most renowned specialists and research team. We want to help!
Pittsburgh Retro Gaming Convention is an event with a singular focus: supporting a great cause through a medium that we love with gaming! From retro games to table top and cosplay, our attendees travel from around the east coast to drink the atmosphere we produce. When we were growing up, games were something the whole family could share and enjoy together from board games and D&D to two player Super Mario Bros on your NES.
8 Bit Evolution is also releasing an exclusive game, with all proceeds going to the same initiative. Germ Squashers will be cross-platform released two player experience where you can choose a boy or girl character, defeating germs and completing levels to get the ultimate prize: a Super Flu Shot.
We have two goals for funds raising:
1. Sell tickets, even if those people aren't coming, to bolster what we can do for Children's. They're only $15!
2. Get some cool exposure for the game that goes to the same cause.
