Hi, i've desoldered few 29f160 flash eeproms in tsop48 package and i want to do an adapter pcb for Snes. Is there any diagram showing which lines do i need exacly...? Or can anybody tell me how to wire it up propertly for 1 to 1 replacement? And what to do with unused address lines... Leave them unconnected or solder to gnd?
Ground the unused address lines.
Unused inputs should always be connected to something unless the datasheet specifies that an input is internally pulled up or down. And I haven't heard of a commodity flash memory with pullups or pulldowns on its address lines.
Ok, ty... At that moment i've got :29L323DT 32mbit (4Mx8/2Mx16),29F160BE 16mbit (2Mx8/1Mx16) and 29LV800CT 8mbit (1Mx8/512Kx16) all TSOP48. How to write the game... Can i Just write it in one chunk or have to split and use multiplexer?
Look at the datasheet, if it can run in 8-bit mode, you don't need a multiplexer.
HOWEVER. The letter "L" indicates a 3V part. Do not use one in your (or anyone else's) SNES without adding additional protection parts, 3V ROMs will damage the console and/or be damaged by it.
