I would suggest that you make a list of what you need from a publisher, what your game should be worth, etc. and then make an offer to one or all of them who you might think you can trust. All of the ones mentioned seem to reliably deliver their products, in my experience. Write a contract with the licensing details.
That's not really what I'm talking about here. I don't think any of the known publishers will screw me over. It's more the question how smooth the whole stuff will be.
For example, in the past, I ordered a supergun from eBay. The guy delivered his product, but the communication was a pain in the ass: You write a longer mail to elaborate stuff and he takes one week to answer and then writes only a one-liner. Yes, I got my supergun in the end. But the communication was frustrating.
When I ordered another supergun from someone else, he was totally different: That person was actually able to communicate. So, I could tell this person to alter the supergun in a specific way. This would have never been possible with the first seller because he was simply too stupid or too lazy to read and understand my mails.
That's why I'm asking for experiences. I don't need a list of publishers that exist. I can find them with a search engine.
I'd like to hear actual experiences of people who published a game on one of those sites. Not just people who ordered a game, but people who created a homebrew and who published it through one of those sites: How was the overall experience?
