Whats up guys, here to answer questions!
The Rockforge/Timevoyage was made by Old Wisdom Tree owners and Flopped, it wasn't made by Brenda when Brenda took over. I think they used Jungletac the company that makes Dreamgears plug and plays consoles and handhelds; link here:
http://www.dreamgear.com/Cool thing, if you to
http://rockforge.com or
http://colordreams.com it takes you directly to Stardot Technologies which is the company Color Dreams became. I've been trying to acquire the Super Cartridge from them to backward engineer it and start using that tech/mapper for new homebrew, thinking of releasing it for non-commercial use etc. We'll see if it works out.
EDIT: Seems like they removed the domains from Forwarding, but I swear they forwarded to Stardot at the beginning of the year.
EDIT 2.0: Went to Wayback time Machine and yeah it used to forward to Stardot. Im not Crazy.the 75K mark is actually to port Super Noah's Ark 3D to Genesis AND To upgrade the PNP to GOAC and have all the games in 16bit instead, along Noah's Ark. But I plan to reveal a lower Stretch Goal once funded for Noah's Ark 3D for Genesis carts only. We already have a Demo for that game.
Money received is going to go mostly to Rewards costs and KS fees, thats why we are using Kickstarter. We will use Kickstarter for side projects that are not planned with Piko, or projects that we can't really fund by ourselves. This time it was the WT collection KS =D.
Super Noah's Ark 3D won't be using the Duke Nukem Engine, but a new one.
250 Special Edition carts, is the MAXIMUM amount of carts we would make for a Special edition. In no way I expect to sell that many. I think 50-100 could be sold.
That bit of the Companies taking advantage of Homebrew developers was aimed to a couple of companies I don't really agree with, which shall remain nameless; however Sik might know one of them. They Aren't NES publishers, otherone seems to want to get into it; Shiru might know who I am referring to.
Honestly I rather buy out the copyright outright; Tracking royalties, and doing reports etc, it is very time consuming. Also, In my experience with other deals, usually my Cash offer is on point on (probably a bit higher) of the totals a homebrewer may receive when us publishing their game; however one is paid in full upfront, the other one spread over 1-2 years. If I could give advice to homebrewers here it goes: if you don't want to deal with production, assembling, shipping, handling, marketing, sales, distribution, returns, and putting money for all those things, SELL YOUR GAME FOR CASH.
If you have any questions just let me know, some of you know me I am very open. Thanks!
Also If you can, please support our project! Even if it is just a share or a mention =D
