personaly I think it's alittle to expensive.. but it sure is a cool cartridge to own
That is an awfl lot But it seems to be in good condition and it's rare. Downsides PAL no box, instructions. I wouldn't buy it for that much.
Last I checked, there was never a box or instruction booklet for Nintendo World Championships 1990 - it was a special game made entirely for a contest, and only 116 cartridges (90 gray, 26 gold) were ever made. As such, it is incredibly rare and extremely valuable to collectors.
Wow ... and here I thought that the NES Statium Events, which went for $3,050 last week, was expensive!
It would be good if a collector recieved Both grey and gold. By the way was gold first place and grey second? Does anyone know what the contest was?
The contest was to get the highest score in the setting that Nintendo Power described as "six minutes". At first, the thinking was that breezing through SMB and Rad Racer to get a high Tetris score was the key, but much later, people learned to do the repeated koopa stomping in SMB world 3.
