What PC-Engine/TurboGrafx-16 emulator (if any) do most of you use? I'm trying to decide between Hu-Go! and Mednafen. The problem is that I haven't heard many people vouch for Hu-Go!'s emulation accuracy, while Mednafen is a multi-system emulator (and I already have separate emulators for practically all the other systems). The emulator needs to be free (but not necessarily
free software), so Magic Engine is out. Any suggestions? (Chirs Covell, I'm guessing you're the expert on this?)
I use YAME and Magic Engine, mainly. Mednafen is growing on me, simply because it's more accurate than the others. If you're a programmer, an emu named "Neco" is also very useful, since it has VRAM, Palette, and memory viewers. It does, however, have very low compatibility.
If you want to play most CD games, ME is the only option.
Clarification: I won't have any legal PC-Engine CD games available for at least a few years. I will be running a lot of PD ROMs, though, so I do care about accuracy. It looks like I'll be going with Mednafen...
