This may not be the place to ask, or you guys may not even allow rom requests on this site. If so, I apologize in advance for not seeing anything on this...
Do you guys know of any sites that offer roms for Final Fantasy II and III in a FULL english translation? I appreciate the help
I don't know about this place in particular, but most forums frown on ROM requests. However, these titles can be found on just about any site with "rom" in its URL.
Yeah, thats why I was a little skeptical about asking. I know you can find these roms, I have them, but was wondering if anybody knew a source for the fully translated ones.
Again, I apologize if this is frowned upon.
Your best bet is to find the original Japanese ROM, then apply a patch to it. Lots of sites with pre-patched ROMs will have really old, incomplete, and/or buggy versions. Sites that only have patches usually care enough to keep the latest/best version.
You can find patches here:

You can get the patch from romhacking.net and patch them yourself...

Yeah, try <URL removed>
Quietust - This forum frowns upon not only ROM requests, but the act of answering them as well.
<URL removed> and <URL removed> are my favorites.
Quietust - See above. Asking for ROMs is bad, but telling people where to get them is even worse.

And, pray tell, since when
http://www.romania-on-line.net/ has anything to do with roms, or for that any illegal activity?
Ya know, this was supposed to be a joke and all.
This is only a guess: Quietust may mean that we are supposed to give ROM requesters the silent treatment in preference to a smart-ass answer.
I agree with the heavy-handedness on this matter. I'd rather that than an increased chance of this site being shut down due to apparent involvement with copyright infringement. Sure, it was a joke, but "The Man" might not take it so lightheartedly.
I guess it means that I didn't actually browse to the URLs to see what was at them (which, considering I was at work at the time, isn't exactly something I can freely do - verifying any foreign-looking URL could be potentially disasterous) - when it comes to potentially suspicious-looking URLs, I "shoot first and ask questions later".
My point still stands, though, and blargg appears to have understood my reasoning properly.

Sorry, I keep forgetting that some people live in the land of DMCA and all that other stuff.
We like to call it the land of the "free". You better call it that too, for your own good. You wouldn't want us to liberate you, right?
