I got Mysims for the Nintendo Wii last week and its a really great game I didnt think it could live up the original sims games with its cartoon style but it gives the characters more of a 3D effect and they look so cute.
I cant wait to try out the DS version too.

If you like MySims or Harvest Moon, you might want to try Animal Crossing. It's for DS and GameCube and works fine in Wii's GCN back-compat).
I thought this users' other posts were suspicious, but the links posted along with this one were a dead give-away.. a google search shows this (and the previous) posts on other forums.
Almost subtle enough to get away with spamming. Almost.
BTW I like Harvest Moon, hopefully some day I'll get to try Animal Crossing.. I'm still stuck with all the old systems.

Well, the DS has been pretty emulatable recently...
sure but unless your useing a computer with some kind of touch screen, meh
anyway My Sims was good for a couple of days but then it gets boring
btw if you like harvest moon and the DS there's "Rune Factory A Fantasy Harvest Moon" its pretty good and adds an interesting new twist with the cave dungons you have to fight your way through

I don't see the point... a mouse seems to be more than enough to handle all touch screen operation.
that is true although it is not the same experince
Yeah, of course not... but in the meantime, while one does not have means to obtain the real thing, trying it out on an emulator might still be fun.
The whole experience is a bit watered down actually... I haven't been able to run any DS games in real time, they all seem to run at about 60~70% of the actual speed, on the PC's I tried. When heavy 3D action takes place, it may get even slower.
