That's not true.
If you put the "Microsoft is evil and everything they make is crap" argument out of your mind and try MSVS just as if it were any other non-MS program, you would be impressed.
That "MS is evil" argument is crap anyway. They make fine software. Overpriced, sure, but who cares when you have the internet.
Try it again and just trick yourself into thinking it's freeware made by a 3rd party program. Then see how it stacks up with other IDEs. It really does kick most of their asses (
especially the debugger).
