I fucking fate not using WSAD for the DPAN and then KL for A+B. It stuns me they can fuck up the controls so badly and still think the arrow keys are the proper was of controlling something who's dpad originally was on the left and action buttons on the right.
I still can barely get past the fighting part, I just keep taking cheap shots everywhere then the AI just combos it out of nowhere. Although the style feels a hell of a lot more retro than most games, which is great.
? I can't jump.Instruction under the game also don't mention jumping.

I made it with 1 continue to the 4th level. The controls are'nt bad for me.
Thefox, BIG thanks for showing it to me.I love achivements and this game has plenty of it
I prefer use the arrows keys and I'm left handed anyways.
How do you map the keyboard when you use an emulator ?
Do you use arrow keys and the num-pad for action buttons ? That's what I did at first so it felt more like a real controller, but eventually I was too lazy to change emulator's touches every times and most default to keys like D, C, X for buttons so I use them.
I really can play with D-Pad and buttons in either hand, but then I can do most common things equally with both hands while most people have to use their right hand for tight stuff so maybe I'm just a particular case.
I found the control satisfying, and I wasn't able to jump either. Maybe it's unlocked somehow ?
I also prefer WASD controls, but in this case I used JoyToKey with a game pad. It worked OK but for some reason JoyToKey didn't recognize the directional controls so I had to play with the analog stick.
I'm down to the final boss. I have to say it's a very well done game in all regards, but the difficulty felt bit unbalanced sometimes.

Did you look under "hat switch"?
Ah, there's actually an option "Use POV switches", which adds the directional controls to the list of buttons. Funny how that isn't enabled by default.
If you remember any, er, tricks from the first level of Double Dragon, try using them in Abobo's game before they end up in this thread.

Heh when I played this a couple weeks ago I instinctively went straight for that wall, just like I do everytime I play the original
I enjoyed the game, love the theme and humor, but yeah difficulty is very unbalanced. I never managed to beat Big Mac yet...
