The most current version of PPMCK has bankswitching galore for individual channels, but is the same possible for effects macros? It seems like it doesn't take much to get a $1FFF overflow message if (for instance) you have pitch macros which last hundreds of frames.
Is there any kind of workaround, or is it simply a driver limitation?
I ran into a similar issue on an experiment in the summer.
Very long envelopes will eventually begin pulling data from the next (I assume) designated area of data whether there's things you put there or not. I found that putting a smaller envelope between 2 huge ones alleviated this.
However I don't recall if I actually ran into the overflow compile error on definitions. Unless you're trying to transcribe MANY passages of music for multiple channels I assume?
Actually it's not in reference to a song I'm working on. I was just generally surprised to find that macro data is so severely limited (in comparison to note data).
I guess if it ever becomes a problem, I can just use SM and many many @n commands to achieve the same thing.
