I finally could bought a small lot of original NES games.
Besides smelling like they've been under a corpse for many years, one of them only worked when plugged on a GameGenie.
I kept them surrounded by many layers of plastic on my bathroom, after disassemble them to clean, I think I've figured out what was going on. Here is a crappy pic of the one that's not working:
And here's a crappy pic of a working one:
In the one that doesn't work the edge connectors don't go all the way to the edge.
Looks like my clone's connector just struggles to make proper contact.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
I was thinking in conductive tape, but I'm not sure about the reliability.
I thought in "transplant" a piece of some ISA board's connector, but I'm afraid to destroy the game's board.
Maybe I should change my clone's connector...
Or, I may be wrong and this is not the real problem.
