Once we have all these pieces in place, then we can make a step-by-step guide to getting started with NES development.
- UNROM or UOROM compatible NES cart PCBs with a socket for a PRG flash chip (Memblers says they run about 20 USD assembled)
- flash chips to put into these PCBs
- flash programmers to write to the flash chips
- GameBit screwdrivers to open your carts and replace the PCB
- Anything needed to open the NES itself and mod-chip it (that is, cut pin 4)
