I'm thinking of a project i'd need one for.....(pref pal)
Also I wasn't a 100% sure were to post t his so I put it in here.
Btw this is not a guarentee i'm gonna buy one, just seeing if anyone got any laying round.
Step I: Buy NES w/ blinking light syndrome off ebay or Craigslist for $2
Step II: Desolder 2A07
Step III: Rejoice.
Good plan xept that "broken nesses" are getting harder to find.
Desoldered CPU's are harder I'm sure.
Shit, hadn't conciderd logic.........I guess i'll have to then
Actually nes cpu's from old repair facilities are able to be found. I have a few that are new in box.
NESes that are actually, unfixably broken are very, very few and far between. Sure, the cart connector wears out all the time, but it's rare for the actual motherboard to conk out.

You do? *wink*
Anyway ya I know nesses almost never actually "break" besides the connector. But people are starting to realise about the connector!
