So, I've finally started making headway with my trusty m82 - convincing it not to reboot every X minutes.
I've started working at a shop that does both hardware and software development inhouse, and thus have access to a fairly well equipped lab. Here I've done some preliminary tests along with a colleague, testing the different configurations on the reset-switch, traced the reset-button from the front panel and such. Basically, it seems the reset is controlled by the code from the "master" 2a03 chip.
Anyways, I've gotten the PRG chip from my system dumped, and was wondering two things I suppose: do I need the contents from the CHR rom to be able of locating the offending code? Is this of any interest to anyone else? My attempts at this will be slow as my low level skills are sadly lacking: any help would be greatly appreciated!
