I finally got around to ordering a GQ-4X programmer and no longer need my old GQ-2X. I used it for the last few years to program EEPROMs and 8-bit AVR MCUs.

It still works great but there are a few limitations to the GQ-2X...
- Requires you to flip switches when changing chip types
- Only supported on 32-bit Windows systems *
- Does not support many newer devices (CPLD, MCUs, etc.)
* It will work in a 32-bit VM on a 64-bit host running VMWare Workstation. May even work on an ESXi 5 host with USB passthrough.
Free to a good home but there is one catch. I'd like to give it to someone who actually needs it - i.e., you've written a demo ROM or something cool that you'd like to turn into a physical cart but for whatever reason can't spend the money on a programmer. If you let me know what size chip you need for your ROM I'll see if I have any spares in that size.
And PLEASE, don't be a jerk and say you need it if you haven't written a ROM or can afford to go buy your own programmer. I'd really like to help someone who has spent time on a project and just needs a little help putting it on a physical cart.
