Hi! I was wondering if any members here had any experiences ordering from retrogate, the store in Germany that deals in different flashing equipment. I placed an order with them almost 4 days ago. It was billed immediately but has yet to ship. Does this sound pretty standard?
I'd like to pre-order some more products from them, but I'm hesitant to do so until the 1st one I ordered from them arrives.
Thanks, guys
I bought an SNES and N64 flash cart from there.
krikzz builds those on demand, and if he lacks the parts or the item is on back order due to high demand, it can take a little while.
My SNES cart was shipped quickly, but I had to wait 2 weeks for my N64 one because it was on back order.
Interesting. Thanks for your reply!
The item I ordered was in stock and not back-ordered at all, so it's a bit strange to me that it hasn't gone out. But I'm glad to hear you got your orders okay
I've got my eye on an SD2SNES, but it's back-ordered.
I ordered my Everdrive MD there last year when it became available. Arrived pretty reasonably fast.
I just pre-ordered the Turbo Everdrive two days ago. The site says it's now in backorder so I don't know how long before it'll get shipped.
Just so you know, the Turbo EverDrive never said "In Stock" or "Available". It always said "Back Order", though it's actually a pre-order basically. Anyway, usually it doesn't take very long to get carts from him. Don't expect instant turn around obviously, but I'd think within a couple weeks it should be there.

Yeah, I'm not in a big rush.
I swear when I ordered it said "pre-order" instead of "back order". Oh well.
Thanks, guys! You've been very helpful and I feel a lot better about buying from (to me) a new vendor
I ordered my SD2SNES from him last week, while it was back ordered. I wouldn't worry this guy is very credible in the retro game world.
That's really great to hear. I appreciate the support and feel a lot better now
Add me to the list of satisfied customers. Shipping took a little while to happen but it was well worth the wait. Krikzz does great work.
That's really great to hear. Did any of you guys have problems with e-mail communication? (unanswered and such) Thanks
Didn't you just get a SNES PowerPak? What are you after on Retrogate?
Nothing wrong with your memory
An Everdrive64.
got the mega-ed, ed64 and master-ED from retrogate ... my sd2snes preorder got shipped a couple of days ago and I am waiting for the trurboED to get shipped... also I have sent a bunch of emails when I first ordered from Krikzz (the first 3 carts) and he always responded promptly , OP you won't have any problems with Krikzz
That's good to hear
He gave me a tracking order for my Everdrive64, but I don't know which postal service to check it with. I know it's not USPS just yet.
After 4-5 days I check the tracking info with the Greek Post Service, they pick it up and track it the moment the parcel is received in the airport, give it a week IMHO and try to enter the tracking info on USPS and see what happens
From my understanding Germany tracks the parcel up to their outgoing flight to the destination and the receiving country picks it up from there.
Awesome
Thanks a lot
