Hi all,

I haven't followed Hong Kong Version NES prices much and was wondering if anyone could help me with a ballpark figure for an unused (but opened) copy of Duck Hunt Hong Kong Version?

Pics attached. Thanks!

This doesn't appear to be new, old stock.

It might not be NOS, but it's pretty darn cool. Most stuff I see from that regions seems to usually be roached.

Not sure on the price, but depending on the item, most collectors consider anything opened as "used".

A better looking brand new copy just sold on eBay for 99 eur. You can find it in ended auctions.

I wouldn't see why it couldn't be. This looks pretty standard or even better than most NOS Ive seen from these regions.

New, old stock isn't defined by condition. It if were, I'd have a bunch in my collection.

That's my point. It's left over stock from long ago, unsold. It has nothing to do with condition. Hence why I'm confused why people here would be claiming it not NOS.

Thanks a lot for pointing it out -- I missed that one. Seems lower than I'd expect, but it may have gone under the radar given NL eBay and auction format.  Last data point I have is a 190 EUR sale from 2014, but those were different times of course.

Anyone else have any additional data points on similar item sales in the past year or so?

Ditto. This is literally new old stock, regardless of condition from handling/shelfwear/inspection. Happy to hear why it should be considered otherwise, but this does fit the actual definition of NOS, as pointed out above (thanks Dave!).

I've got a lot of nos stock stuff that was sunfaded to hell. It's a situation, I mention it when selling, some people appreciate it. Because it isn't condition based, it sort of needs to be taken at sellers words, but speedy nes has been here for years and wouldn't make this stuff up for an extra $100 , not would i or any other reputable sellers

New old stock just means it has never been purchased by an actual consumer. It could be mint from sitting in a case or beat all to hell from being shuffled around in the back storeroom.
