But I'm trying to get that Let's Go Pikachu bundle that's seemingly sold out everywhere (Amazon does have it or did last time I checked but there's one on eBay that's new for less soooo...yeah but still it's too much for me right now).

I traded in a small stack of garbo games and got $54. But looking online...they're out of stock on a lot of stuff I want...or they won't ship it...not sure what I'm going to spend my money on. I guess next time they have a retro game sale...

I have a bunch of stuff I was going to sell as a lot. Might just drop it all off. Don't mind 10-20% less than if I sell it myself for zero effort. Much faster way to pay preorders off.

I thought about going to 5below to get myself a Triforce Heroes. But living in the city without a car, every time I try to get one of these deals, by the time I make it there, shit's sold out.

Update: I gotta say, the last two weeks at Gamestop has worked out pretty well for me. Without spending anymoney I got the following games using store credit.

The Surge - $8
Mega Man Collection $8
Prince of Persia HD Trilogy $8
Hitman HD Trilogy $8
Odinsphere PS3 - $18 missing manual
Nier PS3 - $22

And with my precise calculations you still have.....a shit ton of store credit left  .

 

I got a good amount, but less than I planned. Since I couldn't find anyone that wanted Gamestop Credit or a new Switch I got some PS4 games to try and move and I took $110 cash instead of $137 store credit.

I burned up my credit pretty fast. With still having elite, the 3 for $25 turns into 3 for $20.

Still unsure what to do with mine now that I'm more of a current gen fella. Will go to the new Link's Awakening next month and then idk....someone mentioned you can redeem them for gift cards to other places - that sounds attractive.

Unfortunately, the gift card thing doesn't work. The guys at the register practically started laughing when I asked.

I'd rather not sell my soul to the Evil Empire of gaming for a few measly bucks. Shoot, I get offers of a $300 bonus to open a Chase account (the Evil Empire-Lite of banking, second only to Bank of America) and I won't do it (I'd have to move all our direct deposits over and keep the account for at least six months). The bank I'm with works just fine and the people there are friendly and know me and everything.  Chase is just too "corproate" for my tastes.
