To help expand the database, I am collecting any info about the M series of Nintendo items. Most of this is taken from the Merchandisers Manual list. If you have any items with an M number or have any photos please send them to me! Doesn't matter if they aren't from the NES era. Signs, posters, displays, kiosks, check them all.

To see all the picts, see my image library at http://www.nintendoage.com/index....

These stores are testing the effectiveness of this display format in place of the NES M8 which has been used in this account to date. Please check the stores in your territory on your next call to them (after Jan. 15th) to see that the picture on the tape is bright and clear, and that the display is working properly. Ask the Dept. or Store Manager if they have had any questions or problems with the display, and note these comments on your call report.
If the picture is not clear, you should as the Manager to open the display case so that you may assist in cleaning the heads on the player and changing the tape. Clean the heads following the instructions on the head cleaner. Discard the old tape and insert a new copy of the game play video. Please write "M72 INFO." on the top corner of the call report so we can pay special attention to your comments.

Just updated the descriptions of everything from the Merchandisers Manual. Pictures are next.

The service center manuals don't have M numbers, I think they apply to advertising materials only.

Hey Bunnyboy - are you only looking for stuff that specifically starts with the M code, or are you including stuff that's probably part of the M series but includes another prefix? I'm asking cause I have stuff like NES M92V, N64 M64, etc.

Looking for anything with the M number, doesn't have to be just NES Mxx. Or do you have other advertising stuff that has a number other than M? Hopefully the systems don't overlap the same numbers...

I'm pretty sure all the advertising stuff I have starts with an M (at least the stuff that's still labeled), I just know some is NES MXX and some is N64 MXX and so on, like Retrogamer's stuff.  I don't think there's any overlap; it looks like if something from a later system used the same number as something from an earlier system, there's a number or letter stuck at the end (e.g., MXX and then MXX1 and so on).

I looked over every inch of the sign I just got (http://nintendoage.com/forum/mess...) and didn't see an "M" number anywhere. Possibly imprinted in the middle of the two halves but I don't really want to try to crack it open to find out. It's right up there with trying to pry open a Famicom cart... you never know if it's actually going to open or if you're just going to break it.

I wonder if this means that the M91N is perhaps a kiosk that holds the M37N?
