Alright boys and gals and all of yall, here's the contest. Since I can't make it to the Expo because of grad school and an important test I have to take at a moment's notice, I was thinking it would be cool to do a special Faely the Skeleton shirt for the Expo. If you're thinking 'Faegly wha?' check out his section in the old zine issues. I wanted to do a contest where the winning design gets a free shirt. The rest will be sold at a little over cost to get a decent amount of money to donate to the Expo to help Dain out. Here are the rules.
1. The contest will last two weeks, starting FRIDAY, August the 1st, if you want to start working already, go ahead. I say Sunday because we'll have an official announcement about it.
2. You need to either design a T-shirt image or come up with an idea if you're not artistically inclined. This means you don't have to bother drawing anything if you don't want to, if you at least have an idea you can enter it. Just make sure it's explained well.
3. Whatever the idea or image it MUST contain Faegly (and some of his friends if you like) and something that has to do with the Age Expo in 2008. You can only submit ONE idea.
4. Two-sided images will cause a slight rise in cost, but unless it's ridiculous I'll try to cover it so you have the most creative potential possible. This means it's cheaper to do a one-sided design, but if you want to try two go ahead, nothing stopping you unless I get a really ridiculous quote.
5. PM all entries to me. DO NOT post them in the thread because this will be a blind vote. No names will be given, only done by entry as in Entry 1, Entry 2, etc.
6. After the entries are submitted within two weeks, I will post them here for voting. This will last about a week (longer if we can milk it or need to). After this, the winning entry will be used for the shirt, here are the details about that:
I'm currently looking at two possibilities, a company called Fat Rabbit Designs in the area that I've worked with before (great guys and they get the job done) and another called Crazy Horse. Fat Rabbit seems slightly limited in the size of the image you make, but from their previous quotes I can say the shrits, if we get at least 20 sold, will cost around 15 dollars each depending on the number of colors used in the image. Eight is their maximum, but don't worry about that in your design, unless colors play a big part I can easily mix and match some to get what you want. Eight is more than you'd think. I'm not sure what Crazy Horse does yet, but it should be a similar if not superior service from what I've heard and possibly a cheaper set of shirts. Whatever the price, I will be charging 5 bucks OVER the cost of making them, and this bit will be donated to Dain for the Expo. I myself will be purchasing at least 8 shirts for my site to sell, still giving any profit to Dain. You can find what I currently do with Faegly here if you want to see where I'll be selling them:

So that's it, we'll begin the contest Sunday and I expect a lot of people will enter. Don't be afraid of trying to draw something, but you don't have to. Any image or idea that wins will be drawn by myself anyway since this is sort-of a Faegly collectible deal.
PM me if you have the following Gamecube Case: Kiosk demo #17!
WTB Cdn sealed black boxes, sealed Cdn first party titles. I.e. the "mattel" Cdn boxes with both french and english. Mainly black boxes, zelda, link, and tyson, but let me know what you have. I am interested in anything I don't already have!
