So I just made a mistake by not selecting a menu command on the controller and had the game on autoplay. Now I have no idea how to access the menu again. I brought the console to a friend's house so I don't have the instruction manual with me and I can't find a scan or transcript of the manual online.

Hold down A+B+Select.

I tried that for a long time. That's the default button combo, but when selecting the menu buttons I entered nothing, so there is no selected command for menu access.

Put the controller in to port 2. Then hold A, B, Select, Start and Up while turning the system on.

This will reset the system to factory settings.

If you have any GBA signage or kiosk I would be interested. Please send me a PM because I'm only here about once a month now but I'm still VERY interested in large system signage or small playable kiosks related to the GBA.

Powering on without a game in, I think that's how I resolved the same issue.
