Star Wars Episode I: Racer is done. It's a really good game and I really like the race tracks in it. I also like how you can play with many characters from the Star Wars franchise, like Anakin Skywalker or Sebulba. However, the game has a major problem: the lack of music. There is only music on the third lap of the race and I'm sure the game could have been a lot better with music on all three laps. For example, when I first played Star Wars Episode I: Racer, I almost fell asleep with the first easy races. But then, it became harder and harder and I appreciated the game more and more. It's one of the best racing games on the N64.

Very good game.

Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness is completed. It's a good game, just like Castlevania. I consider it as an upgraded version of the first entry on the N64 and not as a full new game. I don't have a lot to say about this one, just read my comments about the first game and that's pretty much what I think about Legacy of Darkness. I was very happy to hear one of my favorite songs from the series in this game:

For those not that familiar with the series, it's the music from the second level in Castlevania: Bloodlines on the Sega Genesis.

Good game.

Well done. The list looks pretty small now!

Mission impossible is done. What a crappy game, controls, bugs, camera. I like how you shoot someone in the head. Literally delay in them getting hit.

Wow, it's good to see this going strong. I know I kind of fell off the radar this year, but life takes up a lot of time, I guess. Finish strong this year, guys!

Thanks for writing. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email during this busy time of year.
In regard to your email, it is great to hear that you have found a copy of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. Perfect dark was a first person shooter game that was released in May of 2000. I personally enjoyed this game a lot during my mid-teen years since it allows for up to four players to play at one time. All the Perfect Dark cartridges were black.

I hope this information is what you are looking for.

Response I received from Nintendo customer support when I asked if they knew any thing about a black Perfect Dark cart.

I tried playing Supercross 2000 today but it gave me a nasty case of motion sickness.   I won a race, though, so maybe I'll chip away at it a little bit at a time.

I'm only able to emulate right now. I think I will wait until I'm back in the states in June next year and save all my momentum for then.

Hello everyone. The end of the year is very near and I wanted to thank all of you for your participation and efforts. We beat last year's score by a mile and I'm sure we can even do better in 2017. However, I'm not quite sure if I will be the host of the 2017 N64 thread. Anybody would like to run it ? I will enter college next year and I doubt I will have a lot of time for participating and contributing.

So, thank you very much and I hope you all had as much fun as I had completing N64 games this year. It's always great to learn new things about games I didn't know a lot about. I will definitely participate in 2017, but like I said, I don't know if I want to run the thread next year.

You've done a much better job than anyone else has done so far. You were able to put far more effort into it than I ever could, and it's been a great run. I've thought about trying to take it over before, but I'm pretty sure I would drop the ball. Hopefully, someone will take it on and we can actually get it done. Thanks for all the effort you've put into it, Michel!

I didn't participate this year but now that I have completed the fullset I will definitely play some N64 games next year.
I hope I will be able to finish a few that I haven't finished yet.
