News, updates, and the like. Sorry for the delay regarding a proper update, tablets just aren't good for this type of thing . There are quite a few limited releases at present, so make sure to check the OP!

New Dreamcast homebrew SLaVE available here: http://www.goatstore.com/Products.... This edition is limited to 400 copies, and looks pretty neat! Speaking if which, I still need to add that section for Dreamcast homebrews...

Oh, and Fishbone is currently in stock for the Virtual Boy from Uncle Tusk. Still need to get around to that section too... Too much to do, and never enough time

And may I just say that it is quite good, and that the music is particularly catchy . Yay!

Can you add 2048 for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive up there? 2048 was ported by Oerg866 and is available on the Airwalk Studios site

You bet! I'll move it on over from the news section to the Genesis section. You're early though, probably a first for a homebrew project ever!

EDIT: everything has been updated that I am aware of. Some prices fixed too! Fix It Felix just got a whole lot cheaper.

Need to add the HeebieGBs cart.

-------------------------

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at the Let's Play Gaming Expo last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Oh, my WTB thread is very popular. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, Richard craniums - they all adore it. They think it's a righteous thread.
I'd also like to add that I've got my father's gun and a *scorching* price guide for aftermarket Nintendo games.
Between Dragon Warriors and nothing... I'll take Dragon Warriors - for any of my FT/FS/FO items.

I'm still on the fence about adding music carts to the main list, simply because for a while there were so many of them, but HEEBIE-GBS is pretty neat! It can be found here: http://asmretro.com/hbgbs.... Supporting it also helps to support Retro ASM's upcoming first game release!

Don't forget to back Lizard! It is closing in on its goal .

Also, Glider and Mystic Pillars are back in stock. The stars have aligned and the whole of RetroUSB's homebrew offerings are all available at once, except for that one...

Lizard has almost met it's goal!!! Remember U.S. friends, don't be fooled by the dollar sign; the pledge price is in Canadian dollars, so the CIB is really like $10 off right now , barring any currency fluctuations of course.

The bitpuritans 2A03 NES Album is once again available from INL. This is a long-term, regular release.

Also, for the somewhat deep-pocketed, there is another NES musical album on its way. The Kickstarter has already met its goal, but there are still ten days left if you are interested: https://www.kickstarter.com/proje.... Carts start at $80 and climb from there.

Was the last one a LE release, or did it just run out of stock and now they're selling it again? I can't remember...

INL calls it the Regular Edition. Also it states on the INL sale page:

Previously there were 50 Limted Edition copies which sold out early 2014:
  • Sold out no longer available
  • Those copies were DIGITALLY NUMBERED 1-50 as displayed in the info screen
  • Used a different case which didn't have labels on the back

Coming soon section should have that Kickstarter game in it that was recently funded. It has connectivity between the NES cart and the PC for the steam version. Mystic Searches.

Coming Soon should probably be reserved for games that actually have a functional demo of some sort, or at least video made from the actual game in progress.

Otherwise they aren't coming all that soon...

Then we are being way too arbitrary in what we include. It'll then be"let's leave this game off because I don't like the developer or there isn't enough information" Mystic Searches did have some screenshots that I remember from the video. Thing is that I still consider Super Bat Puncher as coming soon! Lol

I don't think it is arbitrary AT ALL for "coming soon" to be ACTUAL in-progress games that show promise of ACTUALLY being released within a calendar year.

A screen shot is easy to do as a mock-up, so I don't really think that counts with anywhere near the weight of a gameplay video.

Maybe another category for "Eventually..." or "Hopefully...one of these days..." and they get upgraded to "coming soon" when they are actually a viable product that shows promise.

I just feel like "Coming Soon" should actually mean something
