I bought a set last week for my NA Super Nintendo and I was amazed at the quality and build in the cable. Only 17 left in stock lol and it’s almost like the pound cable but can’t even compare it to a frameister,  Ossc or pound cables.  Sure it’s not gonna makes ur games look better but the video quality coming from my og Super Nintendo is amazing now 😎.  It looks way better than a standard av cable now

Hmm, looks pretty neat. I've used converter boxes that do scale up the images, but also leave some image artifacts.

If this cable gets rid of that (Seems to get rid of dot crawl, so that's a start), then it'd be worth spending the extra $10 you'd get for a regular converter IMO.

Cool find!
Can you compare it to S-Video? I recently tried out a 50-inch plasma with a Super Nintendo through S-Video, and it was a really freakin' sharp picture. Not blurry or muddy at all, unlike the same items through composite.

I might be the only one here who avoids using Amazon, but if I'm not, here is a similar product for anyone interested, same price:

and a review thereof:

1chip-01 & 02 output rgb natively. It is only the 03 and SNES jr that require mods to output rgb.

oh I thought cuz it won’t work on specific 1chip models since of the nature of rgb but it’s cool.  I’m on a hunt now to mod my NS2 model n64 now

I take it this is a good cheap alternative if you're not already using a SuperNT which this likely will not match.

Do they make them for other things like that pound cable for PS1 or maybe handhelds from Nintendo or the PSP as that had a video out on it too.

Believe it or not hyperkin actually makes products similar like this for other consoles. I've seen one for Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, ps1/ps2, and Dreamcast. Not only that but a licensed hdtv cable for the og xbox. I have yet to purchase their other cables cuz I wanted to try gaming on my 16-bit consoles 1st.
