Hi all. I recently bought a pink Gameboy Pocket from Japan on ebay. The batteries had leaked and was sold as junk. I took it apart, cleaned all the battery contacts and now it turns on and plays games, but there is no sound and none of the buttons work. The sound works when using headphones so I ordered a new speaker. I'm not sure what to do about the buttons though. Is there a component or trace that may be to blame? Has anyone fixed this problem or is it toast? I put the buttons from the pink one in a known working console and they worked so I know its not the buttons themselves. I've cleaned everything quite thoroughly. I'd appreciate any advice or pointers. Thanks!
