I remember when i was a kid i used to have them a think they were monotone colored green and maybe red, blue whatever. Each figure was a characted in a certain pose and he would maybe hold a rifle or bow. It was kind of soft plastic i used to bend them so the rifle would be crooked i guess i thought it was fun to fuck around like that.

There were also a little larger pieces like that horse carriage rounded tent type of thing from the old West. Yeah i think all of the toys were Western themed.

They also typically come in soldiers form too...I kinda thought that was the most famous version of these toys actually.

To my knowledge they were always sold as "Cowboys and Indians" toys. I think there were a couple of brands over the years. One was by Tim Mee Toys.

This is kind of true but largely because they were (and are) mass produced with cheap plastic in cheap molds.  These things were basically made for the bargain bin and, to my knowledge, there are no “name brand” variants.

In the US, the “green army men” variants were the most owned by a wide margain.  I do remember the indian and cowboy ones and I seem to recall that they were mainly yellow and red.  No greens and blues in my mind.

Anyway, these were the types of toys parents would pick up and give little Johnny’s friend Timmy on Timmy’s birthday.  Cheap and fun, mostly. Especially when you started to get bb guns.

I had several army men when I was a kid, only one set right off that I can remember right off was Battle of the Bulge, but it was like rlh said cheap plastic moulds and all the figures, tanks and trucks were all cheaply maid seems the colours were green and tan. I also recall having plastic space men sets, they were blue and I think either yellow or could had been red.
