This is coverage of the Portland Retro Gaming Expo that Christian A. Deitering ("Ferris Bueller" on NA) shot for NintendoAge. Interviews include Marc Ericksen (former video game box art illustrator), Greg Pabich (current maker of Cheetahmen II), Gamemaster Howard Phillips (Nintendo Power legend), and we believe Ken House (Dig Dug world record holder), who is uncredited because we're not 100% sure it's him.

Highlights include an explanation of why Megaman is holding a pistol on the cover of Megaman 2, how we finally got a copy of Cheetahmen 1, and why the world's first gamemaster wears bow ties!

Greg Pabich - CheetahmenGames.com

Shot of the fly, edited on the cheap, and totally unscripted production by "Ferris Bueller" on NintendoAge.

Sweet. So far, positive feedback.

I bought a sealed Choplifter, a copy of Halo 2600, Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu, Color Caves, Vegavox II, some original artwork by some artists that had a booth (not Marc), and a couple of t-shirts as souvenirs.

-------------------------

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at the Let's Play Gaming Expo last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Oh, my WTB thread is very popular. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, Richard craniums - they all adore it. They think it's a righteous thread.
I'd also like to add that I've got my father's gun and a *scorching* price guide for aftermarket Nintendo games.
Between Dragon Warriors and nothing... I'll take Dragon Warriors - for any of my FT/FS/FO items.

Yes, 1990 NWC in case you're curious :) A long long time ago, in a video game competition far far away.

Wow! I had no idea how good you were! Excellent video and I learned some things that I didn't know. I also liked that they captured Robin's death on tetris hahaha

If anyone is LOOKING for certain repro/homebrews, I have a running repro company thread going as well as a lot of extras myself which include Limited Editions as well.  I'm also free to help answer questions and point people in the right direction so never hesitate to ask!  Here is the current list of repro companies.  Please let me know if I need to update it:

Was a great video. I really enjoyed it.

You were filming during the auction, weren't you? You have a recap of all the items and sale prices?

Hey, thanks for the great interview segments.  I especially enjoyed hearing from the artist behind the Mega Man 2 cover art.  I didn't don't he did so many covers for some of my favorite games.
