Besides being based on an exclusive monster in the game? They were only available through the purchase of the NES game. I think the toyline was actually at its peak when the game came out, too bad cause I miss them. And Battle Beasts. I think I miss Battle Beasts more tho. Now that should have been a videogame.

Nice! Never bought the game, but I loved buying the little figures. I remember getting some from a Spaghetti-O's mail-in.

It may just be me but I don't see a reply. No complaint, mind you, but it would be pretty sweet to hear the story. Spin us a yarn, I say! I'll go make the popcorn. This I want to hear.

all 4 colors can be found at random inside the box for Monster in my Pocket,
this counts for both the European and American release.
my counting total of which colored versions i have seen most to least in the past few years:

- 9x Orange
- 5x Blue
- 6x Green
- 5x Pink

the loose monster itself usually seems to sell for around 90-120 US dollars,
or sometimes even higher.

-------------------------

Collection as of april 29th 2018

- NES Sealed Games Total: 2
- NES NIB/CIB Games Total: 28
- NES Loose Carts Total: 139/366 (incl. label differences)
- NES Manuals Total: 66
- Game Boy Loose Carts Total: 27

That's crazy that they cost that much.

Were all colors available in all regions? Or were some for American market, some for European market?

That is what i have been searching for. but in regards to price. the green figure was the most expensive that i purchased... 160, yup dude was expensive. but opportunity and scarcity. i could not resist the temptation.lol

The orange was the best deal paid 70 for him.

Very cool.

Now that I have kids, though, I'd cringe about having 4 little rubber figure lying around worth $500+ total
