Hello everyone,

first let me say i am a new member so greetings.  I ran across a new factory sealed links awakening and i would like to know how i can tell if it is truly factory sealed?  I will probably send it in for grading before selling it but i would like to know what you guys think.

You shouldn't post your email on a public forum. Also, you can upload your pics to Nintendo Age as well as use photobucket if you want to share them.

Sounds like an awesome item. I'd love to see the condition! Welcome to NA!

If anyone is LOOKING for certain repro/homebrews, I have a running repro company thread going as well as a lot of extras myself which include Limited Editions as well.  I'm also free to help answer questions and point people in the right direction so never hesitate to ask!  Here is the current list of repro companies.  Please let me know if I need to update it:

Welcome! Awesome game! Condition is nice and looks legit from what I can see. I love the holofoil releases from GBC as well!

To help verify a factory seal most game boy, game boy advance, game boy color games including this one will have a horizontal seam and this does have it. Another way to help verify is to look on the front and back of the game and look for tiny holes, called vent holes, in succession (one after another) in one row on the front and one row on the back. Looking for both of these helps to verify that you indeed have a factory seal.

I can't see vent holes in the pics but those usually need to be shot up close to be seen.

I think it's legit. Good candidate for grading, I would guess 85.

Hard to see scuffs due to the darker lighting so not sure. The dent in the third picture might have a bigger factor on the grade.

Yup, 85 - corner poke and a decent dent on top, looks pretty good though! You're looking at $250-$300 for an 85...
