I didn't know that until I watched the playthrough. That should make it much easier.

EDIT: It doesn't make it any easier.

Thank you Michael.  I got a good laugh out of this post

Reading up on the combo system worked wonders.

That's what I was referring to when I mentioned that the game was easier to figure out after reading the manual. Some of those are worth a ton of points from what I remember.

I could possible entertain that idea, perhaps.
It would likely have to answer questions during the night, when I am tipsy, though.

I would do an interview as well, but 1) I already did an interview for the Hall of Fame and 2) I would be incredibly boring to interview.

---

In Klax related news, I found out I have already beaten my score from the 2015 contests. However there's a decent chance I have already played more this week than the last contest, haha.

No, we must build people's anticipation.  Interviews with lesbian Brazilian cyborg video game savant queens do not come around often

I think my upcoming interview went on for three weeks and I would encourage anyone to participate.

Forget what I said earlier about not caring for this game. It's freaking addictive.

You can choose to play the levels normally for less points or gamble on the possibility of a huge combo for big points.

It is much easier to set up the board for a huge combo than the other waves. But requires tons of resets till you get good RNG.

I'm finding this game much less fun now that I know the best ways to score points in Wave 1.  It's just resetting over and over until you get the right combination of blocks.  I think I would have preferred a distance/low score contest for this one.

^^^ I agree. For simple peons like myself, getting 250K+ on the first two waves each is more than enough of a challenge and I'm already tired of the RNG factor a couple nights in

That's a very good idea, we should flip the rules in the future on this one.

Last time we played this, we did furthest progression/low score, so I decided to go high score this time around. Seeing as how you can score massive points on Wave 1, next time we play this it will either be furthest progression/low score or high score but not starting on Wave 1.

Getting the 250k+ bonus twice in a row is hard for me. Getting it on the first stage isn't too bad, but I've only been able to get it on the second stage like two times after many tries. There is so much luck involved.

Next time ? I have a suggestion... how about this game never get played again in any contest ever and we all band together to track down (and buy) every last copy. Then we burn and bury every copy of this offensive game so nobody has to ever play this game again.
I mean, how great of a NA meetup would that be? A huge bonfire of Klax carts, hotdogs and smores! That would be epic!

How about we skip the burning of the cart and just have an NA meetup filled with gaming, beer/liquor, and good times.  I'm down for that

I have actually been to quite a few NA meetups and they are always a very good time.

I am finding enjoyment in that challenge. Even when you get good RNG, it still takes planning to make the huge combos to happen.
Not sure if distance/low score would be as fun. Later levels become a chore to handle.

I am disappointed that the two of you didn't get to kiss.
