This is part two of a long thread.

Oddly enough I think part one started with an 85.

WTB Cdn sealed black boxes, sealed Cdn first party titles.    I.e. the "mattel" Cdn boxes with both french and english.   Mainly black boxes, zelda, link, and tyson, but let me know what you have.    I am interested in anything I don't already have!

Recently back from VGA.    I got this from a former capcom employee   Before mega man x3 came out one of the ways they promoted it was with this advertisement.

Bronty,

this is beyond description. Absolutely incredible. Any of us who grew up with Nintendo Power, GamePro etc has seen this add. Intersting you went with VGA casing and not acid free, UV protected framing, but I have to say, VGA casing on art is absolutely astounding. You know you have something special when the Castlevania isnt the star of the pic, haha.

As always, thanks for sharing man.

Thanks so much! Very kind. I love this stuff and its frickin' amazing to me to think they were passing this piece of paper around on desks at capcom at the time.

FWIW, the archival casing is UV protected. Beyond that, UV is mostly a concern when you are dealing with color. A black and white piece like this, well, you still want to protect the paper from the sun so that it doesn't brown, but its less of a concern.

Some new SNES gemz! The Peacekeepers is especially cool because I've never seen another sealed copy of this game (and it's a really awesome beat em up):

Never even heard of the Peace Keepers, though I'm loving the over the top 90's art on the cover.

Peace Keepers is the last game in the Rushing Beat trilogy. Released over here by Jaleco as Rival Turf, Brawl Brothers and Peace Keepers. I have no idea why they changed the names like that lol.

yes, the art is pretty sweet. This game does piss me off because of the '4-player simultaneous Action!'. You cant play 4 players in the game, only fighting each other which is lame.

The art is super sweet but you need a shirtless dude or two to really capture the era.

right, the game is a fighting tournament, or "competition"

MK on the SNES was the "Competition Edition", as in, it's not about the blood and gore, it's about the competition. Silly way of marketing the censored version.

Ding ding ding!

You can switch the "sweat" to "blood" via the Game Genie, however. MK is sort of my thing; I've never seen a copy in such good shape.
