So I was reading through a back issue of Nintendo Power, volume 29 to be specific, featuring Star Trek on the cover. In 'Classified Information', they feature a password for Zombie Nation on NES, except, they call it Samurai Zombie Nation. It's not exactly a typo, because the title of the game is in logo format. This is the only time I've seen this, and I'm a bit curious what the scoop behind it is. I took a picture of the possible typo next to my copy of the game and I also skimmed the manual looking for mention of a samurai but got nothing but talk of aliens. Picture below for your eyes to see!

The manual says (page 3):

"When the great head of the samurai, Hamakubi, heard that the sword had fallen into evil hands, he set off immediately for the United States."

OK, well then that means 1) I need to play games and 2) I need to learn to read. LOL, but umm, what's the official title of the game? Is it Samurai Zombie Nation or Zombie Nation?

Zombie Nation is really a port of a Famicom game, called Hooligan Tengu (I think). Since they figured that no one was familiar with Japanese culture, Meldac changed some things in the game. For example, the floating head you control is actually a Tengu, an ancient spirit from Japanese folklore. But no one knows what the hell that is, so they say that your a mystical samurai. Hence, the game is called Samurai Zombie Nation, or simply Zombie Nation.
