I think these are pretty cool, especially the glow in the dark ones.

Shit! Those are really, really good! I'd love all 3! It's almost a tie between The Pig and The Brain, but I have to go with Metroid as my favorite of the 3.

Thanks for posting this! Someone is already selling these on ebay and when I looked up the artist, I found his page, but not the kickstarter.

-------------------------

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at the Let's Play Gaming Expo last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Oh, my WTB thread is very popular. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, Richard craniums - they all adore it. They think it's a righteous thread.
I'd also like to add that I've got my father's gun and a *scorching* price guide for aftermarket Nintendo games.
Between Dragon Warriors and nothing... I'll take Dragon Warriors - for any of my FT/FS/FO items.

It's too bad they are giclees and not screen prints.

Edit: looks like the higher tiers are screen prints!

I really love "The Pig" , but I would only want the glow in the dark edition and that's $50. I just can't do that for a poster unfortunately.

How do all these unlicensed projects manage to stay up on Kickstarter and, in the case of this one, why does it even require a Kickstarter?

Screen prints? Really? This is not an expensive undertaking.

They're using it as a preorder basically to know how many to produce. Not sure if that means its a one time print run or not,

This is from the page.

"For this project, the risks and challenges are very small. The art work is already done and the printing arrangements are entirely in line - we just need to know how many prints to produce. We believe Kickstarter is the ideal place to take this project to make sure that every one who wants to get on board CAN do so.

Instead of waiting months (or sometimes years) for the delivery of your Kickstarter rewards, this project will begin shipping within one month of the end of the funded project. NakatomiInc.com will handle all production and shipping. While they are a small mom-and-pop nerd-shop, they've been producing and shipping screenprints worldwide for 6 years now - this is what they do. They've successfully fulfilled literally tens of thousands of orders to date. No matter how big this project may go, they've got the fulfillment covered - from print shop to shipping to customer service, everything is already squared away and in place. If this project goes SUPER BIG, production time to fulfill every order might take a bit longer. It wouldn't delay the start of printing, it would simply lengthen production time to get all the prints printed and shipped out the door. It would take a staggeringly large amount of backers to extend the month-long production time we've planned for."

I think the Ganon one was best. Mario doesn't feel like he belongs in that style of art.

Anybody else feel like a Master Hand one would look pretty awesome?

That's a hard one. All 3 are sick. Even my bias towards metroid can't help me decide.

LOL!

Not at all, it just boggles my mind how some of these fan projects can be SO public and still manage to not get shut down. Like that earthbound/mother one...

It is pretty shocking how Nintendo hasn't kaboshed this, that said, I think they look beautiful, I'd love to pull the trigger on all 3 glow in the dark ones.  Might snag the Metroid.

Hopefully the person selling these IS the artist. The only one I really like is Brain. Would like to have seen Wily,Dracula,Red Falcon,or Dragonlord..

Maybe Nintendo doesn't know about them. But if people have been reporting these projects and Nintendo still does nothing, that's a different story.

Great posters and art style, plus glow and the dark. More than I'd pay for posters, plus I already got enough posters still in storage.

But regardless they'd be a great addition
