Hello and welcome to the fourth round of the second Sega Master System Weekly Contest!  This week's game is Putt & Putter.  Even if golf is your least favorite genre, give this one a go!  While it's not the "outrageous combination of miniature golf golf and pinball" that the back of the box promises, I like it better than most other golf games of the time.

Rules:
-Play until Game Over or you clear stage 3
-The game ends when your remaining number of balls go in to the negatives
-Be quick taking your picture!  Once the remaining number of balls go into the negatives, the status screen will only stay up for a few seconds
-Furthest distance wins
-If two players lose on the same stage, the player with the number of balls closest to zero wins
-If the game is beaten by more than one player (clear stage 3), the player with the highest number of remaining balls wins.
-When you clear stage 3, be quick taking your picture!  The results screen only stays up for a few seconds.

Good luck and have fun!

SCOREBOARD:

1. Hole 6 (Yoshi)

The original idea was to create a weekly contest for everyone to participate in when the NES one was on break.  Segaage doesn't get much traffic anyway.  I did post about the first Sega Master System contest on Segaage last year, but the thread got zero replies.

That makes sense. I am guilty of negligent membership at SA myself. I'll be happy to participate when I get home next week tho!!

I don't know if I can force myself to play another golf game.

I didn't even participate when we played black box Golf in the NA contests and I had to force myself to sit through a game of Bandai Golf.

It's really not like those games.  It feels more like a puzzle game than a traditional golf game.
