"NEW" SNES Mini Zelda Bundle Appears to have never been used?

I recently obtained this Zelda SNES mini bundle. The seller claims it to be new. I have my doubts, sort of. Here is what I have going for and against it:

Signs that it's new:
-Everything has baggies, besides the AC adapter. I made a baggie for it.
-The cartrdige slot on the system appears to have never been touched.
-Pins on the LttP cart are flawless, as is the label indicating it's never been put in a console.
-Everything is right. It has the right controller, the right AC adapter, right version of LttP, etc.
-Basically, everything looks unused. No wear whatsoever, aside from the outside of the box.

Signs that it's not new:
-The styrofoam has breaks in it. I have a theory about this though. The AC adapter doesn't fit in that well in the styrofoam so any shaking of the box, would cause the AC adapter to shake. All the breaks in the styrofoam are around the area where the AC adapter sits. That explains that part.
-The AC adapter is missing it's baggie. Did it originally come with one? I'm sure it did, right?
-The manuals are missing. The system manual, the Zelda manual/map are gone.

So what's the verdict? My hypothesis is this. The SNES was bought and probably never used. It was probably adult owned. This would explain why the baggies are intact and everything looks new. As for how the things that it's missing went missing, your guess is as good as mine. So what do you think? New, not new? And what's it worth?

If I'm not mistaken, the Baggie for the system has red warning text on it. I just sold a new one about a month ago.

However, if new, I'd say more than $400 because of it being a zelda version. I sold my mini for $400 and it did not come with a game.

My Theory?

Someone bought this SNES, at some point they opened it up took out the AC adapter and used it for another SNES or NES, vs fishing their other AC from behind the TV. Manuals? PSSH who needs those? TOSS. Baggie? TOSS! I've finished using this other AC Adapter for the moment, or OHH, this doesn't work for the NES... Place back in styro (Cracking edges) and cram it all back in the box. Everything is untouched, save for the AC adapter and the manuals.

The console baggie would have red text on it, but the red text is only on half of the system baggie.

New - I’d say around 350-400
CIB is around 250 condition pending of corse.

nice system for sure!

The baggie does have red on it, it's on the underside of the console.

It is the player's choice

I thought of that, but how can you then verify if it's new or not? They never came sealed or anything so there would be no way to tell if it's new if you didn't open it. Right?

Yep, it is. I've heard that from several people. Very nice looking Snes you have there. I notice your cart is in a different place than mine though.

Sorry I know this is an old thread, but for future reference I have had several of these over the years and this is what the contents should look like:

I usually check out how the cords look. It's impossible (sort of) to get cables back together in the same way they look coming from the factory after they've been unwound. Obviously there's no way to know if the console itself has been used unless there's scuffs on it or something.
