LOL fingers are alright... I have a NES Advantage that is primed up for button mashing (no turbo).. I couldnt imagine playing this without a joystick.. I have a much higher score Im saving until tomorrow to unveil.... Much higher... You have to learn the locations of the V tiles and get the extras for sure on every level.....(up to 80k per on the end of levels...memorization is awesome)

My score is 68,400. I suck at this. I couldn't get the image to upload, but I will try again later. Difficult game.

Had a lot of fun playing a few games of Star Soldier. I used to play it when I was young on pirate multicarts, and replaying it seriously brought me a few good memories of a time of innocence. I never been really good at it, but now I was getting ahold of it. Once you memorized the position of all 'Z', scoring is in the house.

Also, nice score WickedWonka!

Thanks Guillavoie! Yeah finding all the z tiles (said v in a previous post, was a little drunk lol) and memorizing their locations made a huge difference in my scoring. Also, I accidentally warped on a few attempts and have no clue how I did it. Anyone else know? It in no way helps with points but I can see it maing a bit of difference if you were trying to beat it.
Edit: Ok I looked over strategywiki link on the first page and see that there are warp tiles, I wasnt paying attention when it happened, guess I just got lucky.. I did encounter the whale tiles a few times and when they didnt pop quickly I gave up on em. Wish I had read that walkthrough earlier this week...

Not even close... Now that I know about the warp spots and super lasers etc I may try to beat it outright.. And IF I can get that 2.000.000 point bonus Id be pretty close to the record

Nice job with this game everyone! Those were some really great efforts, especially given the short timeframe.

Thanks for choosing this game Tom! I truly had a great time improving my skills at Star Soldier over the week.

Tonight I'm planning to try the secret codes to get full powered and switchable super rapid-fire and laser special weapons. I never used the secret weapons and I hope they kick ass.
