A CIB copy of Sculptors cut is around $1500, I've never heard of a sealed copy so, I imagine that a sealed copy probably doesn't have a value that can be pinpointed very easily. I'd imagine that there are people that would probably pay over twice as much for a sealed copy, probably more?

Sealed Sculptor's Cut doesn't have a price, but there's a list of people interested. Tell your friend to buy it and no matter what he pays, he should be able to flip it for more. I would be extremely interested, as well as at least a dozen other people I'm sure (that could make competitive offers).

Go with what Jonebone said, since this is the first anyone's probably heard of one, there will always be someone willing to pay more for it than the last person, that said, the value will only increase as time goes on. Anyone going for a Complete sealed n64 collection will jump on this in an instant.

Have there been any cases of this? I'm not really familiar with whether or not they do stuff like that.

Make sure to get nice high res and close up photos of all sides of the box, so that the pro's can verify that there is a legit H-seam seal to rule out a reseal.

Sounds like this could be the holy grail of N64 games if it isn't a reseal, I can't say whether or not a reseal is unlikely though so I guess we'll see.

i can verify that there is at least one sealed clayfighter sculptors cut in population ... nintendo of canada sold it in a lot a few years ago on ebay (i saw it but was too poor to afford it) ... the lot went for something like 1700ish but don't think that gauges the value because not all people knew of the auction ... ... i would have wanted that puppy ... i would assume the value for this title would be around $5K sealed

It's not the first. The Nintendo of Canada auctions weren't THAT long ago. Those auctions had at least ONE of them, although I always thought it was more like 2 or 3 (I can't recall, I wasn't into N64 back then) but there surely was one. I believe won by pooch or Adol.

Anyway, yeah, if it's legit, it's worth some bread. That is a big "if it's legit" though. Bring on some pics

EDIT; Damn Ant beating me to it ^^

Definitely add me to the list of interested people. This is the absolute most wanted item on the N64.

There's at least two, and both of those owners are NA members. They can come forward if they want, neither is a regular poster. Though one has been active recently.

Yes they did, I have a Transformers Beast Wars sealed by them.  It has the blockbuster sticker under the wrap on the back and one of their pre-played sticker on the wrap on the front.  Basically how the consumer would first purchase a rental exclusive from them.

$800 to $1,200, manual is the "rare" thing about this, so it's all subjective to what the buyers market is, and it's been fairly dry right now. Been wondering how long it would take until another decent manual popped up.

I'd say $1600 - $2000 plus. I got a $1610 offer on mine and my manual is in worse condition but my box/cart are nicer.
