I doubt either of these will command tons of money in the future, because some scumbag will start repo'ing the case arts and sticking them in double cases if that ever happens.
So basically you are saying nothing could command any value on the Gamecube because your argument could be applied to any game. Same would go with PS2 and later...
To me, it only applies to the case art. And why I stay away from paying high prices for CD based games that are reflected just via case art. Discs and Manuals would be too costly and hard to reproduce 1:1. A glossy sheet of paper? Not so much.
