I was looking through games to play and I saw that I have a few that have some minor label peeling. It's not the lamination or gloss, but the entire label, and the corners are very slightly off the actual cartridge (no creases, just a gradual lift). Is there a way to safely reverse this?

I'd say a very light coat of crazy glue or something, and I mean... very light, so it avoids absorbing into the label itself or leaking out the sides. I'm sure someone has a better idea.

I swear by 3M Super 77 spray adhesive. A lil on the finger, and fix that label forever. the excess rolls off into rubber when it dries, so no label damage. dries almost instantly too.

I would heat it up with a hair dryer, peel it completely off and then use a craft glue stick.

ya could...but then ya risk tearing the label. I have done my method 1000 times, and has worked perfect. And also it doesnt seep into the paper...safe, instant and permanent fix. glues like that will dry out, which is why the label peels in the first place.

Not a prob. Finally glad I have info somebody actually needed!! Home Depot or Lowe's for about 12 bucks for the big can. 1 big can will fix literally hundreds and hundreds of carts. I use this stuff to put felt on pool tables. If it will glue cloth to slate, it is a marvel. The cleanup is the bonus, if ya get a tad messy. As with anything, just take your time. Good luck on the repair, and let us know how it worked for ya. I'm sure other would love to know my dirty lil secret!

I used to use the Elmer's Glue stick on a toothpick, but I think I'll have to find some of that spray stuff now. If you deal with reselling Atari 2600 cartridges, you always need something around to reglue labels.
