Hey guys! I thought I should post this here, as I know many of you might be interested in this. An early prototype of Contra 3 for SNES just had it's fundraising met, and will be released very soon. Here's a link to the release thread:

Differences include Contra IV titlescreen, levels with different graphics, different text, incomplete levels and possibly a different ending. I say possibly because Niels doesn't remember perfectly and isn't likely to play through it again to figure out. Our goal is $750, which isn't as bad as it could be."
 
The goal has currently been met and is waiting release in the thread posted above. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled!

Unfortunate delay here. We're dealing with a bad dump. Working with some SNES experts on IRC and as soon as we get some more dumps plus an overdump then hopefully we'll be ready to go. Can't say how long that will take, but soon.

This is why you don't announce things ahead of time lol. I've learned my lesson.

Will we get to see a picture of the PCB? That's half the fun, lol.

Despite what we were told there are zero levels with different graphics. Seems the titlescreen is all that was different.

What a waste. Think of the other unreleased proto's of unreleased games that would have been worthy of?
