I managed to do this during the afternoon, and I'm quite satisfied of it. I died stupidly in a tiny hole, but I never got that far in SMB with one life. Plus, I succeed in pulling the life trick in stage 3-1, 6-2, 7-1, which are all the stages I aimed for doing it.

A lot of nice scores from everyone! Thanks for making the 1st contest of 2012 an awesome one!

Just getting back in.  Wow, nice job 2Legit28Bit!  That's the kind of score I expected from someone.

Nice to see you here Mr Votava!

I hope you'll participate in our little friendly contest in the future as well. It's always nice to have great competitors to spice up the contest. You cost me a few extra Sunday hours to catch up your score

Next game is R.C. Pro-Am, and I'm sure it will be a blast!

Thanks Tom! Coming from the Michael Jordan of Nintendo, that means a lot!

From what I know now, I would not be surprised someone really hardcore can achieve around 2.4 - 2.5 millions using the life trick everywhere it's possible combined with taking advantage of every possible ways to rack up maximum points in every stages plus being almost perfect in execution and speed. But this would take an enormous dedication to push it that far.

That was my thinking as well. Biggest problem is not screwing up the life trick. Kinda frustrating to have to play through the whole game just to fail at those key point-making spots.

Anyway, nice contest you have here. My collection isn't big enough to play every game (Princess Tomato, this means you), but will definitely try to play a few more rounds with you guys!
